SENZA LIMITI – FASHION SHOW

Accademia del Lusso is celebrating 'Made in Italy', creative freedom, and the overcoming of cultural and geographical barriers with the outfits created by students for Senza Limiti [No Limits], its 2025 fashion show.
The event is organised as part of the Gran Tour AFAM project supported by the Ministry of University and Research.
When and where
Monday 30 June 2025 at 7pm at the Talent Garden Calabiana, in via Arcivescovo Calabiana 6 in Milan. Attendance is by invite only.
The creative concept
Senza Limiti is the free, bold, inclusive and sustainable expression of creativity in contemporary fashion as seen by the Fashion Design students of Accademia del Lusso. Drawing inspiration from the philosophy of the historic brand No Limits, the outfits reflect the concepts of independence, transformation, responsibility and an ethical vision. These concepts characterise the identity of a generation that does not recognise itself within the limits of the past, and which is ready to reinvent the very concept of style. The creations move between experimentation and tradition, featuring fluid and structured silhouettes, innovative materials, and zero-waste, eco-friendly techniques. Fashion thus becomes a universal language capable of breaking boundaries and conventions.
A multisensory experience
The soundtrack of the Senza Limiti fashion show has been created in collaboration with Accademia St. Louis. Music and fashion converse to create an engaging and immersive atmosphere, with emotional videos providing visual support during the key phases of the event.
Fabrics by Colombo and denim by Candiani
The Accademia del Lusso designers the created their outfits using fine fabrics from Colombo and denim from Candiani, two leading textile companies renowned for their commitment to sustainability.
Il Made in Italy: beyond the borders of La dolce vita the talk with Giovanni Borrelli to introduce the fashion show
On Friday 27 June, Accademia del Lusso will introduce the fashion show Senza Limiti with an in-depth talk entitled ‘Made in Italy: beyond the borders of La dolce vita’ [Il Made in Italy: oltre i confini della dolce vita] at its headquarters in Via Montenapoleone 5, Milan. Realised in collaboration with LABA (Libera Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze), the debate will tackle central themes for the future of the sector, such as the protection of 'Made in Italy', the challenges of 'Italian Sounding', and the role of young creatives in redefining national identity in a global context. Special guest Professor Giovanni Borrelli will join lecturers, experts and professionals in a dialogue with students, contributing to critical reflections on how Italian fashion can continue to assert itself abroad by embracing innovation, ethics and sustainability while maintaining its cultural roots.
Participation in the talk is reserved for Accademia del Lusso students and invited guests.
