FORMA Fashion Show 2026:

Accademia del Lusso in the spotlight in Rome

On 8 and 9 May 2026, Accademia del Lusso is taking part in FORMA, the event dedicated to creativity in the fashion system that brings together the capital's leading academies and will take place at the Centro Congressi La Nuvola in Rome. Following the success of the last edition, which involved over 25,000 participants and international guests, FORMA is confirmed as a landmark event for the sector, offering an immersive experience of experimentation, research, and innovation.

FORMA is promoted by the Department of Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion of Roma Capitale and by the Department of Economic Development of the Lazio Region, with the aim of promoting young talent and strengthening the city's role as a hub of excellence in fashion and design education.

Forma

The 2026 theme

The 2026 edition of FORMA is dedicated to “Contemporary identity: the dress, communities and self-recognition”, a reflection on the role of fashion as a language of identity and a tool of belonging. At the core are subcultures as spaces of expression and self-construction, in which clothing becomes a visual code and a form of recognition.

Accademia del Lusso at FORMA

In this context, Accademia del Lusso is taking part in the second edition of FORMA, offering its students a concrete opportunity to engage with the industry. The Institute promotes an educational experience where they can put their skills into practice, develop their creative language, and get closer to the professional world. FORMA thus represents not only a showcase, but an active laboratory, in line with the Accademia's approach focused on Made in Italy excellence and the enhancement of talent.

The programme

For two days, La Nuvola is transformed into a creative and multidisciplinary space, where students present their projects, attend meetings, and converse with teachers and industry professionals.
The programme includes talks, in-depth sessions, and contributions of international importance, including Maria Grazia Chiuri, Sofia Balestra, Francesca Ragazzi (Vogue Italia), Ellen Hodakova Larsson, and Olivier Theyskens, offering a direct look into the dynamics and prospects of the contemporary fashion system. Completing the schedule is the Speaker Corner, a space dedicated to presentations and performances, which will feature the participation of Niccolò Filippucci on 8 May and Lea Gavino on 9 May.
