FORMA Fashion Show will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 9:00 PM in the beautiful setting of Viale delle Magnolie, inside Villa Borghese—one of Rome’s most iconic and evocative locations. Attendance is by invitation only.
Accademia del Lusso’s Project: “Maledicta – L’Angelo Caduto”
For the 2025 edition of FORMA Fashion Show, the students of Accademia del Lusso will present an original collection inspired by the aesthetic world of Romeo Gigli, one of the most influential and visionary designers of the 1980s and 1990s. The project, titled “Maledicta – L’Angelo Caduto,” stems from in-depth archival research conducted on the brand’s historical materials, with the goal of reinterpreting its stylistic identity in a contemporary key. The creative and educational direction has been entrusted to Antonio Martino, designer and coordinator of the Romeo Gigli Brand Project for Accademia del Lusso, who guided students through the process of stylistic reinterpretation. Fluid lines, refined fabrics, dreamlike palettes, and narrative suggestions give shape to an intense collection that blends romantic poetics with symbolic power.
An Institutional Event to Promote Emerging Fashion Talent
FORMA Fashion Show is promoted by Roma Capitale, through the Department of Fashion, Tourism, Sport, and Major Events, led by Alessandro Onorato, and by the Lazio Region through the Department of Economic Development, Commerce, Handicrafts, Industry, and Internationalization, under the guidance of Roberta Angelilli. This is a concrete initiative supporting top-level education and the professional inclusion of young creatives in both the national and international fashion scenes.
