Exhibition for Design Week 2026
On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, Accademia del Lusso presents “From Art to Fabric”, an exhibition project that combines fashion, art, and interior design in a creative and contemporary dialogue.
The project stems from the work of the Accademia's students, who developed visual research inspired by the expressive codes of the artist Niki de Saint Phalle, exploring the use of colour, the symbolism of shapes, and decorative power.
The graphics created were applied to fabric thanks to the support of partner companies and subsequently transformed into a collection of eight garments, entirely designed and made by the students.
The exhibition path is enriched by the contribution of the students of Interior Design, who conceived an immersive setup where garments, surfaces, and space converse with each other, and by the students of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Sanremo, who created three-dimensional mini-sculptures inspired by the textile prints.
The exhibition also includes art installations and a selection of canvas prints, creating a coherent and engaging visual narrative.
When and where
For the occasion, the Accademia's spaces are transformed into an immersive environment in the heart of Milan's Quadrilatero della Moda, where different creative languages meet and blend.
The exhibition opening will be held on 20 April at 6:00 pm.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 21 to 23 April from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, with guided tours at the following times:
- 21 April: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
- 22 April: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- 23 April: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
