COURSE DESCRIPTION
Brands convey the identity of their products. In the fashion and luxury goods sector, the brand expresses the style of those who buy its products or services, and there are numerous important business areas and professionals who work towards creating brand value and brand development.
The 3-Year Course in Fashion Brand Management is an international programme which provides an excellent foundation for anyone who wishes to undertake a role within fashion, luxury, retail, and brand management.
The wide-ranging curriculum will ensure that you graduate with a wide range of multidisciplinary and transferable skills in business, communication, management, problem-solving, organisation, and planning: all of which are essential for success in today’s competitive industry.
Relating specifically to the fashion and luxury sector, the course teaches an overview of fashion and luxury, competition, and brand potential, enabling you to analyse market trends and influence consumer behaviour, as well as being able to interpret fashion’s current financial climate and analyse market evolution in relation to retail store positioning. You will learn how to work with designers in developing new products and with the sales team in promoting a brand’s image through its stores.
You will gain a working understanding of important industry processes such as following the product creation process from design to distribution, and creating successful marketing and communication strategies through events and social media. You will become a brand expert, learning about brand identity, protection, awareness, fidelity, and globalisation, and will understand how the retail system works, including aspects such as collection and store timing.
You will also explore key business elements like finance and cost management, how to create a business, self-promotion, and will gains skills and knowledge in other important areas such as marketing, legislation, digital graphics, advertising, and purchasing.
Throughout the course, there is ample opportunity to meet with brands and industry experts and to network through seminars, field trips, events, and projects based on real company orders.

Lessons are usually held between 10am – 1pm and between 2pm – 5pm. The course is full-time and attendance is compulsory.
