OBJECTIVES
After the frenzied period of the showroom sales campaign, the product passes from fashion shows to the window displays of stores all over the world. When the product arrives at the stores, it is subject to careful review by the consumer who decides whether or not to buy it.
This occurs on a daily basis in stores, however, for fashion producers, it occurs four times a year, in the periods corresponding to the seasons: fall-winter and spring-summer, for menswear, womenswear, children’s clothing and accessories. These represent the four decisive moments in the success of a company.
The company sells to its customers, which in this case are the stores, and the whole process depends on the chosen distribution system. Each company distributes its products in two ways: directly and indirectly. Under the direct method, through flagship stores, stores and shops in shops; under the indirect method, through the traditional large retailers, outlets and corners.
CAREER EXAMPLES
However the product is distributed, the key to success for a company is the point of sale, which derives its strength from an energetic atmosphere and a unified and professional sales team.
The course develops key figures in retail fashion, one of the primary levers for growth in fashion businesses.
Specifically, the course develops professional figures such as the Showroom Manager, Point of Sale Manager, Visual Merchandiser and Window Dresser.
