FASHION COURSE

The retail manager is a role that is much in demand, primarily after businesses began changing distribution by opening direct points of sale. This position is equivalent to that of the sales director of an entity with dispersed distribution.

The Retail Manager reports to general management and the owner, his/her responsibilities range from strategic-economic analysis of the market to hiring and managing personnel in the point of sale.

Together with general management, the Retail Manager defines the strategic distribution lines in Italy and abroad and searches for new locations for points of sale. He/she coordinates and defines the seasonal budget for the point of sale and for personnel, is responsible for store profitability and renovation and opening new points of sale.

He/she manages the area supervisors, the inspectors, store managers and all persons involved in the sales process to the end customer, including the visual merchandiser.
