FASHION COURSE
Every fashion show or event has a story closely related to the image that the designer or company wants to convey. Therefore, the objective of communications is achieved thanks to the synergies of related activities: from planning and creating the fashion show/event, to coordinating the event’s elements. And for this reason, the industry needs professionals with training in these specific skills.
The role of Event Manager is changing, developing closer links between fashion and other forms of art as a vehicle of communication and information. Companies need cross-functional professionals able to bring together multi-sensory artistic skills with technical skills for implementation.
This person is responsible for preparing and coordinating an exhibition, fashion show or event associated with fashion products. He/she must be able to envision the event, develop a project with guidelines for its implementation as well as the persons involved.
Furthermore, he/she must be able to obtain financing and sponsorship from agencies or businesses, prepare the event and coordinate all phases through its realisation: choosing a location, obtaining permits and contacting all persons involved. He/she must have exceptional relationship, imaginative and creative skills as well as organisational skills.
