It is not only about fabric and clothing, designers and runways, but is also a business in which all members of consumer society actively participate, including, in particular, diva stylists from film, music and television.

Behind the work of the designer, there is a parallel world, that of the companies that seek to increase business, and therefore focus on visibility. This means investing in exhibitions, events, interviews, television time, video clips and magazine coverage.

The range of editorial products in the fashion sector is extensive, and as a result, newspaper editorial teams have an increasing need for trained, versatile and analytical professionals.

The activities most closely linked with the product image are the responsibility of the fashion stylist, the person who evaluates the collection and communicates its contents at fashion shows, introduction events or advertising campaigns.

At these events, the stylist contributes to defining the mood, matching accessories, choosing the hairstyles and make-up, as well as combining colours to add effect.

Essentially, the stylist has the important responsibility of interpreting, creatively, but most importantly, commercially, the concept of a collection by characterising its image.

This professional is also involved in fashion publishing, organising and planning editorials and photo shoots.
