OBJECTIVES
In the fashion and luxury goods sectors, communication is a complex strategy in that it must convey the spirit and lifestyle that defines the brand.
Companies that manage one or more brands or outsourcing agencies have professions and roles responsible for institutional communications, who manage activities such as drafting press releases and advertising text, maintaining and developing contacts with information organisations, handling public relations and organising events.
Other roles relate to specialised communications for the industry’s media, such as magazines, websites, television, and continuous communications based on special events and personalities.
CAREER EXAMPLES
This area includes the conception and organisation of content and photo shoots for publishing as well image styling and consultancy activities for a collection, product or celebrities for fashion shows or advertising campaigns.
Specifically, the course aims to develop individuals for the roles of Communication Manager, Event Organiser, Public Relations Manager, Press Office Manager, Editor, Stylist, Research Consultant and Image Consultant.
EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The course includes classroom lessons, theoretical-practical activities performed in modules, and learning lab activities, including projects, workshops and seminars held by visiting professors, company visits, participation in industry exhibitions and trade shows. Each classroom training module includes a progress examination. The programme concludes with a final exam.
INTERNSHIP
After attaining the certificate of participation, the students will evaluate the opportunity of carrying out an internship of an average of 520 hours with a company in the sector, organised by qualified and authorised individuals in accordance with laws in force, together with Accademia’s Placement Office.
