OBJECTIVES

This Master’s prepares competent, well-rounded and cross-functional professionals, in the areas of styling/product and marketing, a fully-developed professional, a link between the creative process and the market, able to coordinate creative talents with business objectives.

The dynamics studied as part of the training regard the luxury goods market and, often, the fashion industry as a whole, considering the specifics of certain important processes.

The objective of Accademia del Lusso’s Master’s Degree is to develop professionals who are responsible for promoting the brand philosophy based on strategic marketing and operations. As such, this individual follows the process of development and sales of the product associated with the brand, with particular attention to styling, managing product quality, image and the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

CAREER EXAMPLES

This professional is responsible for brand development and positioning. He/she oversees the development of a collection in relation to content, trends, tastes, price ranges, sales and distribution policies, with particular reference to the competitive environment and market evolution.

He/she is also responsible for guaranteeing the success, or if necessary, the repositioning, of the brand. The cross-functional nature of skills allows this professional to move across various environments and roles, from marketing to branding, licensing and distribution.

Specifically, the course is aimed at developing individuals for the roles of Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Licensing Manager, Customer Service Manager, Sales Manager, Area Manager, Export Area Manager and Retail Manager.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

The course includes classroom lessons, theoretical-practical activities performed in modules, and learning lab activities, including projects, workshops and seminars held by visiting professors, company visits, participation in industry exhibitions and shows. Each classroom training module includes a progress examination. The programme concludes with a final exam.

INTERNSHIP

After attaining the certificate of participation, the students will evaluate the opportunity of carrying out an internship of an average of 520 hours with a company in the sector, organised by qualified and authorised individuals in accordance with laws in force, together with Accademia’s Placement Office.
